High

Happy Friday (almost)!    It is definitely time to hit the hay, as I found myself looking in my stamps for a sentiment with the word "high" to go with this image.  Gettin' goofy.

After several attempts, I can now share this card that I made for both Freshly Made Sketches #41 and for the Color Q Challenge #143.    The poppy and saffron panels are embossed to look like wind (yay or nay?).  I stamped the balloon on pacific point in black, then again in black on a white piece, colored it in poppy, saffron, grey and the blue, cut it out, embossed it with swiss dots, and glued it to the balloon on the blue piece..sort of paper piecing I guess.   One thing that was learned:  if you emboss the balloon first, then cut out the blue rectangle with Nestabilities/Cuttlebug after the balloon is glued to it, the swiss dots will flatten out.   Ok, I learn the hard way sometimes...

Have a great weekend!
