Thumped Heart

Happy Valentine's Weekend! Here's a quickie for the CAS challenge on SCS...a color challenge, using Poppy Parade, Peach Parfait, and Daffodil Delight. I had to restrain myself from heading straight to my Sunny Garden DP and try to come up with something else. This is a Fall-to-Layout, #123. I inked up the heart stamp in SU's Punch Potpourri in Daffodil and "thumped" it with the Peach and Poppy markers....easy!

Thanks for looking!

Love You!

G'day, as my Aussie friend would say! Here is a Valentine that I made for the Featured Stamper challenge on SCS. I case'd a St. Patrick's day card, changing up the colors and the theme. Such a versatile layout, I'm sure I'll use it again! Here is the original

I just got that DP last week, and it was a big deal...I only bought ONE piece! I always buy DP in even numbers...lol...and then usually don't use all of it. Pretty cool that it's a horizontal print, as is the one Tracy used. The flip side is a pearlescent white..which is what I used for the square..not sure you can tell in the photo.

Thanks for looking! :)

Hearts, Hearts, Hearts

Riding Hood Red/Black

Melon Mambo/White
Cherry Cobbler/Kraft (Crumb Cake)

When I bought this floral heart stamp, I really thought I'd be coloring in all those little flowers..LOL! Instead, I tried a simpler approach and enjoyed using different color combinations. Not sure about a sentiment yet, although I think one of the new Verve sets might have just what I need...hehe. Which color combo do you like best? I think I like the pink one....

Stamps: Hero Arts Blooming Heart
Color Combos: Mambo Melon/White, Riding Hood Red/Black, Kraft/Cherry Cobbler

Baby Blanket Inspired

No kidding! I was taking care of this sweet little baby girl last week, and she had the cutest blanket from home! Being on a card making kick, or being 5am...not sure which...I thought that I had to make a card inspired by that blanket. A very simple layout, FTL63 actually. Recently my friend Becki was inspired by a pillowcase on TV...which everyday items inpire you?

Stamps: SU Mini Messages (heart), Fabulous Phrases
Ink: SU Melon Mambo, Creamy Caramel, Chocolate Chip, Pretty in Pink, Green Galore
Paper: SU Melon Mambo, Chocolate Chip, Very Vanilla, Pretty in Pink
Etc: heart shaped button

I Heart Fall-To-Layouts!

I wasn't sure if I would like this FTL from the Clean & Simple Stamping blog, but was very happy to have combined it with the Free For All challenge on SCS, to use something pink (like that's a problem! LOL), something purple and a heart! This card is 5 1/2 x 3, so the squares are 1 1/2 inches. I need easy math. Thanks for looking!

Stamps: SU Watercolor Trio (sentiment)
Ink: SU Rich Razzleberry
Paper: SU Rich Razzleberry, Melon Mambo, Razzleberry Lemonade DP
Etc: MS border punch, heart punches

Valentines!

Three days after Christmas....bring on the Valentines! I have a 6x6 pad of Basic Grey Sugar Rush paper that needed to be used instead of "saved." Other than the DP, I used a little cardstock, So Saffron on the first one and Regal Rose on the second, Nestabilities dies, and the sentiment from SU A Happy Heart. The first card is based on the Mojo Monday sketch # 167. Thanks for looking!
